Student Assessment

The evaluation of the student's performance is based on whole and half points in scale 0 (zero) to 10 (ten). Grades from 5 (five) to 10 (ten) are considered to meet the requirements of the course. A score lower than 5 (five) means that the student is required to either repeat the corresponding course or choose another one (this applies in the case of elective courses).

In the latter case, the course in which the students failed is deleted from their file.

Also, the Thesis Project and the Independent Survey is to be graded by the Supervisor or the Evaluation Committee on the same scale with whole or half points. The average score is set to a number that can contain up to two decimal places.

Evaluation Scale

The grade of the MSc Degree is calculated as follows:

The grade of each of the Courses and Subjects successfully attended by the student in his/her two years of study, as well as the grade of the Thesis Project is multiplied by the number of credits assigned according to the Curriculum. The sum of the individual products is divided by the total of ECTS (90), which gives a Master’s Degree that contains up to two decimal places.

The grade of MSc from 8.50 and above is characterized as "Excellent".

The grade of MSc from 6.50 to 8.49 is characterized as "Very Good".

The grade of MSc from 5.00 to 6.49 is characterized as "Good".
